Oregano

Oregano

Oregano is a family-owned Italian restaurant in the heart of Williamsburg, offering both vegan and gluten-free options. The menu includes appetizers, fresh wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas, pastas, and salads. Pizza prices range from $14 to $22. Oregano is open daily and also offers takeout/pick-up services.

Llama Inn

Llama Inn was one of our favorite restaurants in New York, known for its refined, flavorful dishes and delicious cocktails. This Bib Gourmand-recognized spot offers an upbeat, modern atmosphere that respects all styles of Peruvian cooking. Chef Erik Ramirez, trained in New York’s top restaurants, elevates traditional dishes like scallop anticuchos, beef heart anticuchos, and tart ceviche with fresh, fun, and spontaneous cuisine.

The warm, open space features natural wood furniture and tall ceilings, creating a welcoming environment. The menu includes Peruvian classics like lomo saltado and Cancha, with a cocktail list highlighting pisco and creative takes on classics. The wine list features selections from small producers, perfect for pairing with their food. Llama Inn offers a full dining experience, ideal for any celebration or occasion.

Shalom Japan

Shalom Japan quickly became one of our absolute favorites. You might easily pass by it on the street, but we found some dishes so delicious that we ordered them again.

Since its opening in 2013, Shalom Japan has been showcasing the culinary collaboration of married chefs and owners Aaron Israel and Sawako Okochi. Their menu reflects their Jewish and Japanese heritage, inspired by Brooklyn's vibrant food scene. Located on a quiet corner, the intimate and cozy restaurant embodies the fusion of two diverse cultures coming together around the table.

This charming South Williamsburg spot uniquely blends Japanese and Ashkenazi Jewish cuisine. While not all dishes are fusion, many cleverly combine the two styles, like matzoh ball ramen and the delicious lox bowl with avocado, Japanese pickles, and sushi rice.
