Flow Coffee

Flow Coffee Budapest

Flow Coffee is a specialty coffee bar in the heart of Budapest, known for its high-quality coffee and minimalist, stylish interior. What makes this place unique is that it’s fully plant-based and vegan, offering a great selection of dairy-free milk alternatives and ethically sourced coffee. We only made a quick stop here for a takeaway coffee, but even that was enough to appreciate the quality. The baristas clearly know their craft, and if you’re looking for a great vegan-friendly coffee break during your city trip, this is a solid choice.

Coffee Budapest

Mantra Specialty Coffee

Another great coffee spot in Budapest, Mantra Specialty Coffee is known for its high-quality brews and specialty coffee options. We stopped here for a V60 filter coffee, which was incredibly smooth and flavorful. A great place for coffee enthusiasts looking to enjoy a well-prepared cup.

Vivina's cofee Budapest

Vivina’s Coffee

Vivina’s Coffee is a charming café where you can stop for brunch or simply grab a coffee to go. We visited several times for takeaway coffee and ended up buying a roasted blend to bring home. The cozy ambiance and high-quality coffee make it a great stop for coffee lovers.

Ruin Bars

Budapest is famous for its ruin bars, and no visit is complete without experiencing at least one of them. These unique bars are located in abandoned buildings and decorated with mismatched vintage furniture, quirky decor, and fairy lights, creating an eclectic and artsy vibe. One of the most iconic spots is Szimpla Kert, where you can enjoy live music, creative cocktails, and a buzzing atmosphere. Whether you’re up for a relaxed drink or a full night out, ruin bars are an essential part of Budapest’s nightlife.

Boho

Boho is a relaxed bar with a beautiful outdoor seating area, making it the perfect spot for a refreshing drink in the sun. We stopped here for a quick drink while enjoying the warm weather and the lovely view. If you’re looking for a laid-back atmosphere with good drinks, Boho is a great choice.

Bobo

Located a bit further from the city center, Bobo offers refined dishes in a more formal setting. The food was excellent—we ordered lobster soup, beef tartare, and duck breast, finishing off with a rich chocolate soufflé. While the atmosphere was slightly more formal than other places, the quality of the food made it worth the visit. If you’re looking for fine dining in Budapest, Bobo is a great option.

Gettó Gulyás

If you want to try authentic Hungarian cuisine, Gettó Gulyás is the place to go. We had made a reservation for lunch, which turned out to be a great decision as the restaurant filled up quickly. The service was excellent, and the staff recommended we try their goulash soup, which became our absolute favorite! We also ordered Hungarian pancakes filled with veal in a paprika sauce, as well as lamb and veal stew—all incredibly flavorful and well-prepared. Definitely a must-visit for traditional Hungarian food!

Karavan Street Food Market

Karavan is a vibrant street food market featuring a variety of food trucks, offering both international dishes and traditional Hungarian cuisine. The lively atmosphere, colorful seating areas, and diverse food options make it a great spot for a casual meal or snack. Whether you’re craving a classic Lángos, burgers, vegan bites, or something sweet, there’s something for everyone.

We decided to try the Lángos burger with duck, a creative twist on the traditional Hungarian fried bread, used as a bun for a flavorful duck filling. It was a unique and delicious combination—crispy on the outside, soft inside, and packed with taste. A must-visit for foodies exploring Budapest!

Krumplis Lángos

If you’re looking for the best Lángos in Budapest, Krumplis Lángos is the place to go. Lángos is a traditional Hungarian deep-fried flatbread, often topped with sour cream, cheese, and garlic. We tried the classic version with cheese and sour cream, and it was absolutely delicious—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and full of flavor. A must-try street food when visiting Budapest!

N28 Wine & Kitchen

N28 Wine & Kitchen offers an exceptional dining experience with delicious food and warm, welcoming service. The restaurant’s cozy yet elegant ambiance makes it a great spot for a memorable dinner. The staff was incredibly friendly, and to top it off, I even received a flower from the waiter as a gesture for International Women’s Day—a small but thoughtful touch! Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality food and a great atmosphere.
