Island Hopping around the Komodo Islands
From Labuan Bajo, there are numerous options for boat tours around the Komodo Islands. These tours can be booked online in advance or arranged upon arrival.
Visit Caves
Batu Cermin (Mirror Rock): This cave, also known as Mirror Rock, is a tunnel-like cave in the dark rock cliffs of Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai, Flores, East Nusa Tenggara. Sunlight enters through a hole in the cave and reflects off the rock walls, casting small beams of light around the cave, hence the name Mirror Rock. It is located about 4 kilometers east of Labuan Bajo harbor and is surrounded by forests where you can see long-tailed monkeys and wild boars.
Rangko Cave: A hidden gem near Labuan Bajo, Rangko Cave features clear blue water with high salt content that makes floating easy. It’s a 1.5-hour drive by motorbike to the pier, followed by a boat ride to the cave. This trip is definitely worth it!
