Kechmara

Kechmara is not just a gallery; it's a multifaceted space where art meets culinary delight. As you wander inside, you'll discover a staircase leading to the rooftop, offering a cozy and tranquil ambiance for savoring cocktails or mocktails and enjoying delicious Moroccan and international dishes in a trendy setting. In the evenings, you can groove to live music performances.
Located on Rue de La Liberté, Kechmara is a hotspot we stumbled upon during our visit. Alongside our cocktails, we indulged in a variety of tapas, including crispy goat cheese with honey, shrimp tempura, chicken tacos, and puff pastries filled with both Kefta and chicken. The blend of flavors and the vibrant atmosphere made our evening at Kechmara truly memorable.

PepeNero is an Italian restaurant nestled in the southern part of Marrakech. To reach it, you traverse a narrow alleyway that opens up into a stunning interior featuring a courtyard and a pool surrounded by elegantly set tables.
The menu at PepeNero offers a blend of simple Italian dishes alongside a selection of Moroccan cuisine. For starters, we enjoyed the vitello tonnato and a salmon tartare, followed by a main course of stuffed pasta with cheese and lamb shoulder.
While PepeNero may not be a culinary must-do, dining here offers a unique experience in a beautifully designed setting.

Folk is a vibrant Moroccan restaurant and bar that offers a unique dining experience infused with live music and captivating belly dancing performances. Nestled in the heart of Marrakech, it's a place where you can indulge in cocktails or enjoy a meal accompanied by the lively rhythms and cultural flair of Morocco.

The atmosphere at Folk is dynamic and festive, creating a lively ambiance that's perfect for group outings or adventurous diners seeking an immersive cultural experience. While the music adds to the vibrancy of the place, it's worth noting that the volume can be quite high, and there's occasional encouragement from the staff to join in on the dance floor, adding to the energetic vibe.
For those looking to enjoy a serene and quiet dining experience, Folk may not be the ideal choice due to the lively entertainment. However, for anyone eager to embrace Moroccan hospitality, flavors, and music in a spirited setting, dining at Folk promises a memorable and enjoyable evening. Our group thoroughly enjoyed our time at Folk, making it a highlight of our visit to Marrakech.
