In the northern part of Mafia Island, we had the pleasure of visiting Kanga Beach, a stunningly secluded stretch of shoreline characterized by its white sands and crystal-clear blue waters.

During our time there, we met Yussuf, a passionate local with an inspiring vision for the future of this beautiful area.

Yussuf shared his plans to develop several bungalows aimed at travelers seeking pure tranquility and an authentic connection to the island's nxatural beauty. Although the project is still under construction, we were able to enjoy the existing bungalows, which provided a glimpse into the peaceful retreat he envisions. Yussuf’s warmth and infectious smile made us feel instantly welcomed, enhancing our experience at Kanga Beach.

The goal is to open these accommodations to tourism by December 2024, called Kanga Beach Paradise.
